The agreements were signed during President El-Sisi’s participation in the first-ever EU–Egypt Summit, which underscored the growing strategic partnership between Cairo and Brussels.
She underlined that the Brussels Summit reflects a clear European commitment to strengthening political and economic ties with Egypt over the long term.
The EU accounted for around 27% of Egypt’s foreign trade in 2024 and 32% of total foreign direct investment (FDI) stock in the country.
